Since its inception KALA has hosted various cultural and social events to promote the rich and varied culture of Kerala. Various illustrious luminaries from Kerala have been invited to our functions over the years and they have educated and entertained the audience and this has instilled a sense of pride and meaning especially in the hearts of the younger generation. We plan to continue our work and hold many more events to achieve our aims in the months
KALA AGM - March 2010
The KALA Annual General Meeting will take place on Saturday, 20th March 2010 at North Mymms Memorial Hall, Station Road, Welham Green, Hatfield AL9 7PG.
The meeting will be followed by an evening of entertainment, showcasing in-house talent, dinner and social interaction.
KALA Summer Walk - July 2010
With spring in the air, summer is not far behind! KALA is organising its annual summer event, a walk in the parks, in July. Please watch this space for more details.

KALA Sportsfest – February 2010
A shake-up and KALA Sportsfest was back with a bang. The event, usually hosted just before Christmas, was moved to February this yearand had a new venue. The sports hall at Bishop Stortford College, Bishop's Stortford, made available for the KALA event was organised by Shashi Gopinath and family.
KALA Literary Evening – November 2009
The one event where writers and readers in KALA gather together to share their passion of words, be it through poetry, book reviews or a story, is the KALA Literary Evening. This year the ebb and flow of words was hosted by Mr Natarajan at the Leavesden Green Community Centre at Watford on Saturday, 28th November 2009
